The Okada family of Tokyo were wonderful hosts. This was our first trip ever to stay with a Friendship Force family and, it turned out, this was their first time to host FF visitors as well.

Japanese food was unfamiliar to us, and the elaborate meals Mrs. Okada,  her daughter-in-law, and her daughter-in-law’s mother prepared for us contained many dishes that were mysterious to us, but delicious. That’s a pleasure of travel, to experience new ideas and things.

Mr. Okada is a businessman who has lived in Tokyo his whole life, and he spent quite a few hours driving us through various parts of this huge city.
