Allison Schlacksaid she was 22 and had just graduated from college in Texas when she decided to do her bit in the world as a good Christian and help those less fortunate. She moved to Kenya and set up Ndoto in a Kenyan slum. Now, 16 years later, Ndoto has some 300 sponsors each financing a child in school, as well as training programs for adults.
